Written and produced by Hadi Firouzmandi and directed by Mohammad Lotfali, The Sound of Clouds marks its 14th international screening with this selection. RiFF is known for its unique outdoor screenings held on a floating screen set in the historic Porta Portello area along the Piovego River.
Dedicated to promoting independent cinema and emerging filmmakers, the River Film Festival hosts short films from around the globe across diverse competitive categories including International Horizons (Fiction), Animation, Documentary, Short Shorts, Virtual Reality (VR), Human Rights & Climate Change, Science Fiction, and Fantasy.
Alongside the film screenings, the festival features a variety of cultural programs such as concerts, art exhibitions, VR workshops, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, and professional panels.
