About Us
History
The legacy built over years of our activity and the efforts of the Cinema Department of the Hozeh Honari in the Iranian film industry is an incredibly valuable heritage. This legacy and history form an integral part of the organizational identity of the Soureh brand. We must constantly remind ourselves, our audience, and stakeholders of this heritage in various ways and diligently preserve it so that future generations within the organization do not forget it.
The first cinematic organization in the country was established in the mid-1980s by individuals passionate about revolutionary art. From the very beginning, it laid a strong foundation for the production of outstanding works. Through the creation of works like Mohajer (The Immigrant), Soureh became the primary storyteller of the Sacred Defense era in the years following the war. This position can be further reinforced in the audience’s mind through the production of truthful and impactful works.
Due to its pioneering role in Iranian cinema, Soureh has always served as a hub for collaboration and connection with the greats and distinguished figures of the industry. Martyr Morteza Avini, one of the most prominent intellectuals of the Islamic revolutionary art movement, remains forever cherished in the hearts of Iranian art and cinema audiences. His years of activity in the Hozeh Honari of the Islamic Revolution, as well as his contributions to Iran’s Cinema Department, have created an unparalleled legacy and asset for the Soureh Cinematic Organization.

As a Producer:
We aspire to be a pioneering and trend-setting force, shaping the policies and standards of Iran’s visual arts industry in alignment with our vision.
We aim to steer the production of works in cinema and the visual arts industry toward content that is wholesome, narrative-driven, hero-oriented, family-centric, and hope-inspiring.
Our goal is to create works of high quality in both form and content that set benchmarks and serve as models for Iran’s cinema and visual arts industry.
As a Distributor:
We seek to distribute the Soureh Cinematic Organization’s productions across the country in an effective and impactful manner, ensuring that our works reach and resonate with a wider audience.
By building and expanding an influential distribution network, we aim to enhance Soureh Cinematic Organization’s role in the cinema industry, enabling it to shape and guide the industry’s direction.
We are committed to developing, reconstructing, and expanding platforms for distributing cinematic works—such as cultural and recreational complexes, VOD platforms, and television channels—creating enjoyable and wholesome spaces for our audiences, particularly families.
