“The Song of Clouds” heads to the U.S.

The short film “The Song of Clouds,” produced by the Soureh Youth Film Center, has been selected for the 24th Chicago Palestine Film Festival.

The short film “The Song of Clouds,” directed by Mohammad Lotfali and written and produced by Hadi Firoozmandi, and produced by the Soureh Youth Film Center, has been selected to compete at the 24th Chicago Palestine Film Festival, marking its 13th international appearance.

The Chicago Palestine Film Festival (CPFF) will take place from April 12 to 26, 2025 (Farvardin 23 to Ordibehesht 6, 1404) in Chicago, USA.

Established in ۲۰۰۱, CPFF is recognized as the longest-running Palestinian film festival in the world, celebrating the power of collaborative storytelling. The annual event provides a dynamic platform for filmmakers, artists, and audiences to engage with diverse narratives exploring the multifaceted realities of Palestinian life through feature films, documentaries, and shorts.

“The Song of Clouds” has previously received several international honors, including the Best Animation Award at the 27th Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival in Italy, the Best Animation Award at the 2nd Morning International Film Festival, and an Honorary Diploma from the 5th Light of the World International Film Festival in Russia.

The film’s international distribution is managed by the Soureh International Center.
