According to the public relations of the Soureh Cinematic Organization, the feature film “In the Arms of the Tree”, directed by Babak Khajeh Pasha and produced by Sajad Nasrollahi Nasab and Mohammad Reza Mesbah, a product of the Soureh Cinematic Organization and the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, will be unveiled in Lebanon on Wednesday, June 7, 2025 (May 28, 2025) and will begin its screening in the country on Friday, June 9 (May 30, 2025).
The unveiling ceremony of the film will be held with the presence of the director at the Galaxy ABC Verdun Cinema Hall in Lebanon.
“In the Arms of the Tree”, which was Iran’s official submission for the 2025 Oscars, was nominated for 8 Crystal Simorghs and won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Screenplay and the Diploma of Honor for Best First-Time Director at the 41st Fajr Film Festival. It also won 6 international awards and was screened in cinemas across the country during the summer of 2024, ranking among the top 3 social films of the previous year.
The international distribution of this feature film is managed by the Soreh International Center.
