The short film “Footprint”, directed by Mostafa A’alami and produced at the Rooyesh Film Club, a product of the Soreh Young Film Center, has made its way to the competition section of the 27th Très Court International Film Festival in France for its latest international appearance.
The Très Court International Film Festival will be held from June 6 to 15, 2025 (June 16 to 25, 1404 in the Persian calendar) in France and simultaneously in dozens of other countries worldwide.
The Très Court Festival is one of the most prestigious events in the realm of very short films (under four minutes), with a focus on compact, creative, and universally appealing narratives across various cinematic formats.
Every year, the festival hosts works from both emerging and established filmmakers from around the world, and due to its compact and international structure, it holds a special place in the independent cinema festival calendar.
The short film “Footprint” has already gained attention by participating in numerous international festivals, and its selection for one of Europe’s key events marks another step toward increasing the visibility of Iranian short films internationally.
The international distribution of “Footprint” is managed by the Soureh International Center.
