“Banana Garden” Became the Best-Selling Teen Film in Cinemas

The teen movie "Banana Garden", directed by Reza Keshavarz Haddad, reached a box office milestone of 10 billion after one month of screening in cinemas.

The feature film “Banana Garden”, the debut work of Reza Keshavarz Haddad and produced by Mohammad Javad Movahed, has reached a remarkable milestone of 10 billion tomans in box office sales after one month of screening, attracting approximately 250,000 viewers.

Additionally, the film has initiated mobile screenings in schools and cities without cinemas. During this period, it has attracted 33,000 viewers, generating 700 million tomans in revenue.

With this level of audience engagement and sales, “Banana Garden” has set a new record for teen films in Iranian cinema. Concurrently, the latest teaser for the film, created by Seyed Ali Norouzian, has been unveiled.

This movie, hailed as the phenomenon of the 42nd Fajr Film Festival, carries the slogan “Cinema for All Kids” and has been adapted for diverse audiences, including visually and hearing-impaired individuals.

“Banana Garden” invites audiences to a mysterious land filled with treasures, inspiring teenagers with a profound dream of protecting their homeland.

The film is the first joint production between Sooreh Film Club and the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, distributed by Bahman Sabz Institute, with screenings still ongoing in cinemas.
