Babak Khajeh Pasha, who has appeared at the Fajr Film Festival in recent years with “In the Arms of the Tree” and “Bright Blue“, is now returning to the festival with a film that tells the story of Palestinian children.
At the 41st Fajr Film Festival, Khajeh Pasha presented “In the Arms of the Tree“, starring Maral Bani Adam, Javad Ghamati, and Ruhollah Zamani. The film received eight nominations, including a Best Actress nomination for Maral Bani Adam, and ultimately won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Screenplay and the Diploma of Honor for Best First Film Director.
Land of the Angels marks the second cinematic collaboration between Babak Khajeh Pasha and Soureh Cinema Organization, following In the Arms of the Tree.
